How working with us actually works.
A clear, structured onboarding designed to understand your business, clean up your books, and set you up for long-term success.
We start with a conversation
A free 30-minute call to understand your business, your current bookkeeping setup, and any challenges you're facing. We'll review what's working, what isn't, and recommend the right service package.
- Review your current systems (if any)
- Understand your business model and operations
- Identify gaps, risks, or inefficiencies
- Recommend the right service package
We see how your business actually operates
For local clients in Mississauga, Oakville, Brampton, and Milton, we offer an in-person visit as part of onboarding. This is one of the things that sets us apart — most bookkeepers never see your operation. If an in-person visit isn't practical, we conduct a detailed virtual walkthrough.
- Understand your day-to-day operations
- See how revenue is generated and expenses are incurred
- Identify inefficiencies or missed opportunities
- Better align your books with how your business actually runs
We organize and optimize your bookkeeping system
We get your books to a known-good state before any ongoing work begins. If you're starting from messy or non-existent records, we'll quote a one-time cleanup project — most are completed in 2–6 weeks.
- Clean up past records (if needed)
- Set up or refine your chart of accounts
- Ensure proper categorization and structure
- Align everything with Canadian tax requirements (including HST)
We take over your ongoing bookkeeping
Once your system is in place, we run your books every month. You receive a clear monthly report showing what's happening with your business — delivered by the 15th of the following month.
- Accurate monthly transaction management
- Bank and credit-card reconciliations
- Consistent, up-to-date financial records
- Monthly financial reports delivered on schedule
This is where we go beyond traditional bookkeeping
Every month, you'll receive practical insights based on your numbers and your industry — not generic accounting advice. This is the part most owners didn't know they were missing until they had it.
- Regular review of your financial performance
- Clear explanations of what your numbers mean
- Suggestions based on your business and industry
- Direct access when you need answers or guidance
